P0303 p008 code is throwing

2011 traverse 54,000 miles on it acts like the tranny is out of oil shifts at 3,800 rpm after a few seconds would this be covered under a warranty for the underlying problem ...

    Looks like you might have a timing chain problem as well.

    Warranty is 5 years from date of service, so you might check the DOS on your vehicle. You might still be eligible, but of course there are external components that affect transmission performance.

    It's early for a transmission fluid change unless you are in a severe service loop.

    Ok awesome I shall get ahold my dealer ... To see if my warranty covers this I had a company call and  ask if I wanted to buy coverage for it already ..thank you for the swift response.
