I bought a 2014 Nissan Murano S and it didn't come with roof rails. I think roof rails add more style to the vehicle and I wanted to add them to my car. Problem(s), I cant find compatible roof rails(factory level) except for the ones Nissan sells on their website and those run $350 separately (not for a pair) and I cant find any on Ebay or Amazon and I am seeing mixed opinions if I am able to add them to my vehicle. This would only be for cosmetic purposes, I will not be using them to hold items or luggage. I'm having the hardest time finding any parts for this car and its frustrating. HELP!!!

Hard to add now, you'll need to drill holes, maybe have to remove roof liner for access, may create wind noise. Not worth it to me, but good luck!

I don't have any problem with people drilling holes in their roof but the prices you've found are nuts.

Maybe try some auto salvage yards or U-Pickem lots.

No I absolutely don't mind drilling holes. I was going to be my next place to look. Thanks for the feedback.

I will look at my options and see if it is "worth" the hassle also. Thanks for the feedback!

No way I'd carry a canoe with that setup. Nice neat installation though.

The Prius? I've seen a lot worse rack setups, let me tell you.

I just don't see that type of roof anchor being very secure.

I pop-riveted bent sheet metal onto my Tercel roof to clamp my Quick N Easy towers to - see my profile pic. The EVNut guy's system has to be way more secure than that. :D

I suspect Yakima's lawyers have vetted their landing pads.

I had one cheap rack fail back in '74, but my canoe was tied front/rear and twice across the top, so nothing went flying. The kayaker crowd is the group that keeps losing boats on the freeways.

Yeah well Yakima lawyers most definitely did not do stress metallurgy testing on the roofs of Priusii
