96 Integra idling problem

Hey, I have a 96 integra 5 spd, b18b1 that has an idling issue. When I start it up cold it idles at 1700ish rpm. If I let it sit idling until it warms up it will idle at 800ish (normal) however, once I start driving or even give it gas in neutral it will start idling at 1700ish even when it's hot. If I'm stopped at a red lights let's say for more then a minute it will make its way to 1100ish but I have to let it idle for more then a few minutes to get it idling normal. Sometimes before its dips from 1700ish (while hot) to 1100ish it will bounce back and forth from 1600ish-1700ish for a few seconds. Any thought appreciated. Cheers

You might try a simple cleaning of your throttle linkage and throttle plate. Also, your car has OBD-II diagnostics, so take advantage of that.
