Ok so I got this Eddie Bauer Legacy and I'm having some electrical issues.  I see a lot of threads about these issues but have no idea what to go with.  One when the headlights are turned to the off position the daytime running lights come on and flicker like crazy when the engine revs. 
The second issue is the brake and battery light flicker non stop.  Please help.

    First things to check with weird electrical "gremlins" like this are your grounds---battery, engine-to-frame, ECM grounds, Sometimes a "jiggle test" of various cables or harnesses in the engine bay or under the dash will give you some hints.

    Also check the charging system and battery for proper voltages. Low voltages will make various modules and sensors go crazy.
