2002 Explorer clicking sound from brake pedal.

Could this sound be from brake switch or pressure switch. This clicking sound goes away when brake pedal is step restarts clicking when you release the pedal could it just be brake switch.

    Might be something coming loose in the brake pedal linkage. It would be a good idea to crawl under there while someone is operating the pedal. You might also hear something from the engine bay, from the power brake booster.
