I have 1993 Chevy Z71 dies.

I have 1993 chevy z71 i just put a 1988 350 v 8 with H E I distribitor truck starts but dies when let go of key is thier a jumper wier i need to hook up to keep it runing ?

    Friend told me need jumper wier to battery side of coil,dont know what to do.  please help.

    You'll have to figure out first of all if your car is losing spark or fuel pressure when you release the key. If you're losing spark, I'd suspect thes ignition switch or the PCM. If you're losing fuel, you might check for a defective oil pressure switch.
