Navigation system error

I have a 2005 Honda Pilot. About a minute after starting the car, the navigation screen displays the following message, "system shutting down now to conserve battery." I replaced the car battery thinking this would solve the issue, but it did not. The same thing happens with the new battery. Any insight on this? I called my local Honda dealer and they have never heard of this happening. They want $130+ to look at it, and said it would cost $600+ if it needs to be sent out for repair.
