Leftover 2015 Mazda CX-5 GT or new 2016?

Hello Guys!

I was checking out the CX-5 at the Mazda dealer today and they had 4 leftover 2015. 2 GT and 2 Tourings. One of them is dark gray which was my 2nd option since I wanted it black.

I didn't negotiate much but they started about 2,500 off MSRP. That didn't sound like a good deal to me so I took off and decided to do some research. What are your thoughts?

You might try out Truecar, see what a 2016 goes for. Around here they only list a $500 discount off MSRP, so $2500 might not be bad. Only way to know for sure is to compare dealers.

If you plan to buy and keep it for a long time, there really isn't much difference between the 2015 and 2016 -- buy the 2015 at a lower price and run it forever.
