Brakes barely working.

My brakes did not work yesterday the pedal went all the way to the floor and just barely stopped today my brakes are stopping what could be going on I need help

If the brakes go way down and THEN get very hard, you have a power brake booster problem.

If the brake pedal actually continues to go right down to the floor, you have a hydraulic leak in the brake system and/or have sucked air into the system either due to the leak or perhaps due to excessively worn brakes causing too much piston travel in the calipers or brake cylinders.
