Cuts Out Under Acceleration

Engine appears to cut out under moderate acceleration. Worst on hills at ~45mph. Cuts out, RPM drop, recovers. Pressing the accelerator pedal cures. Also occurs at times (but less severe, shorter, tach needle twitches) at higher speeds when accelerating the right (wrong) amount.. More acceleration, symptoms go away, less acceleration go away. Low mileage car, no trouble light.

I would scan the vehicle anyway, even with no light. It doesn't sound like a fuel problem (not directly, anyway)--perhaps TPS but that's just guessing at this point. Diagnostics required.

Testing a TPS with a voltmeter

You might also check for a large vacuum leak, if you also have an erratic idle.
