Seriously liking the 2016 Dodge Journey - but leather is a deal killer

Our family is Vegan. Leather is a taboo we will not cross. We can find Dodge Journey's with non-leather seats and steering wheels, but there are other parts in the interior that look like leather - such as trim on the door and the center console. I'm hoping that these are pleather or leatherette. Can anyone tell us for sure?

Almost no one uses leather for those items, especially on a car that doesn't come with leather.

Even leather equipped vehicles generally use synthetics for non-seating surfaces.

But, you might check the steering wheel. If it is leather, they will certainly note that in the standard equipment, as most would consider it desirable. It seems unlikely, though.

My 2010 Forester has "leather " seats and steering wheel. Nowadays you cannot even get real leather sofasets unless you pay through your nose.

Door trim and center console are not leather. WAY too expensive to put on a Journey or similar priced vehicle.
