Hi guys, I have a RV motorhome and upon passing a parking spot, caught a few hanging trees and have a very deep scratch on the side. Attached is a pic. The material doesn't feel like metal (notice the wool-like material into the scratch. Is there any resin application I can apply or does it surely require professional work? Thanks for the help.

Fiberglass over plywood? Maybe some insulation showing?

If you want to try d-i-y, look up West Systems Epoxy to get an idea of the steps involved. I've done some minor repair work on glass canoes, but it's a real art to get that stuff to look "good". You may want to hire a pro.

Yeah, I think a professional repair is the only way to go here, if you want it to look anywhere near decent. It's a pretty nasty scratch.
