I purchased a 2010 Chevy Equinox last week and as of last night I noticed the anti-theft light blinking. It had not done this the prior week. Any idea how it may have started? Could I have reset it somehow?

    Does the vehicle start?

Yes, it is starting and running just fine.

Some fault in the Passlock system. You should get the system scanned to see what code or codes come up. You might end up replacing the ignition lock and doing a relearn procedure for the new key.

I am taking it by the dealer tomorrow. The salesman wants to look at it first before putting it into service. From what I have read it is normal for the light to flash but it's just really weird that it didn't start blinking until after a week of driving it.

When is the light blinking? If it's when the car is off and locked, my security light blinks every few seconds.

Or are you saying it's blinking when you're driving?

Yeah, sounds normal to me too, assuming it's blinking when the car is sitting there. Odd that you didn't notice it before though.
