How does the Chrysler Employee Advantage - CDI (Certain Designated Individual) work?

I have a Chrysler CDI number that I would like to use to lease or buy a 2016 Jeep GC. My understanding is it worth up to 5% off invoice.

Do I still need to negotiate the lease or purchase payment? If so, is there a strategy to using this number to get the best possible price?

Can I use other incentives on top of this?

The price should be fixed. Dealer will have to give all incentives.

The dealer is not required to participate in the program.

I would shop a couple of dealers first, to get some real-world negotiation numbers, then take this program to your preferred dealer, to see how it matches up.

If the priced is "fixed," what is there to negotiate?

There isn't anything to negotiate, if you use the program.

You should negotiate with other dealers, NOT using the program, to make sure you can't get a better deal on your own.

Ah...so you're saying this number is not guaranteed best pricing.
