Battery goes dead on 2001 MC SS

The battery goes dead on my 2001 MC SS after a few days just setting . If I take out the fuse for the radio it does not go dead. I put a new after market radio in it and the battery is going dead again. Any ideas.

    Was this a plug in installation or did you have to do some wiring? Is anything else on that fuse besides the radio?
