Repair time lease credit?

Hello!

I'm wondering if there's any way of asking for a lease credit for the time that my car spends under repair - NOT general maintenance. The repair time is exacerbated by technicians not being available to work on the car. Is there a time threshold for which I might become eligible?

My lease is through BMW. Thanks!

What type of credit are you looking for, specifically?

I'm not aware of any formal programs that allow credits to apply to leased vehicles that spend an inordinate amount of time at the dealer for repairs.

Are you in a loaner car currently? If not, you can certainly ask that one be provided.

The same would be true for a car that was financed, not leased. The contract stipulates that you make the payments, on time, for the lease duration.
