Hi, I am looking at 2 leftover 2015 models at a local lexus dealer. One is an IS 350 (47,000)and the other is a GS 350 F sport $57,000) I am curious what you all feel is a fair price to pay for either of these since they are going on 2 years old. The salesman acted as if he could get the selling price on the F Sport below 50,000. I have not pursued it further as I am currently in the last few months of a lease and am still not sure how I want to end my current lease (return, but, or re-lease). Does anyone think is possible to get either of these cars at 10,000 less than sticker? More? Thank you in advance!

We don't track selling prices - use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the Edmunds' price tools.

If you check out the IS or GS lease discussions, you can see what others have been able to negotiate, though the best deals and incentives seem to be over by this time.

This article is about demos but I think some of the recommendations transfer over:

"There is no official way to price a demo car. But the pricing experts at Edmunds recommend that you use this method to arrive at an approximate value:

    1. Calculate the TMV price for a comparably equipped new vehicle of the same make, model and style.
    2. Apply any new car incentives or rebates being offered for that make, model and style. Consult our Incentives and Rebates section to determine if any are currently available for the vehicle you're considering."

The other trick is to use the True Cost to Own tool and figure out how much the cars have depreciated. That number will be a bit inflated since the miles will be so low.

Rough ballpark is that TMV is coming in ~$3,000 below invoice for the 2015 IS 350. TMV is about $400 below invoice on the 2016 IS 350. Looks like the 2015 GS 350 with the F Sport option has an average TMV selling price of $47,775 or $5,000 below invoice.

Since TMV is an average, you may be able to beat that. $10k off invoice may be too much of a stretch though.
