I asked a couple others, but I am looking for quick response before I go look at one at a dealership. NADA is stating that the Colorado Z71 is a half ton. Is that accurate?

Yes, it's called a "full size 1/2 ton" pickup. with a 4,000 lb towing capacity. Basically you're giving up some power and weight-carrying for the fuel economy.

Not sure how a Colorado can be a half ton and my Silverado 1500 be a quarter ton. But thank you.
