Another Leaking Sunroof Thread

Hello Everyone,

As per the subject my local Audi Dealer claims I need my sunroof repaired to sort out my car's electrical problems. There are asking me to contribute close to $3000 towards the repairs. Any advice before I proceed to authorise the repairs on Monday? At the moment, I don't feel as I have much choice as the car is not fit for purpose as it is. Mileage is 77k. Car has been a garage queen it's whole life. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    What's the rest of this story? Is there a leak dripping onto something? Is the roof operative otherwise? What the heck costs $3000? Is that for the electrical work mostly, or ???
