Folks Has anybody heard of feretti motors? They specialize at reconstructing salvage title cars and then selling them with a PA reconstructed title. I'm wondering what are the safety risks of these cars, especially if they are met with a 2nd accident Thx

Seem legit enough. This article and comments may help:

    What Is a Salvage-Title Vehicle?

Here's a search link to the PA DMV blurb on reconstructed vehicle titles (if the link is flaky, you may have to go to dmv.pa.gov and do a new search).

It might be a good buy for someone who plans to a) pay for the car all at once, and b) keep it for a long long time.

I personally wouldn't finance a car with a reconstructed title, because you'd be totally upside down on the loan from the get-go and probably for most of the term.

Remember this rule: "Whatever gets you into a car cheaply when you buy it, will haunt you when you go to sell it"
