Never leased a vehicle before (alway bought to keep it for long term). Seriously considering Leasing this time.
Got a Quote from the dealer:

MSRP 70,070
Rebates 6000
Sale Price 64,070
============
Trade in: 13,500
Final Price: 54,270
(50,570 + 3,700 (fees + taxes))
============

Lease Quote - $708 per month
Cash Due - $710
36 Months, 10K

No other information about the lease breakage has been provided.
Experts, please let me know how this looks.

    The 36/10 numbers for the X5 are .00138 and 60%.

    Using your MSRP and Final Price, that works out to $473/mo.

    If I back the trade value out of the deal, the payment goes to $866/mo.

    So, what we need to know is the adjusted cap cost, as it seems to be in the middle somewhere.

    We do not recommend using trade equity as down payment - to cover the fees and taxes, yes, but get the rest of the equity returned to you as a check from the dealer.

    Or, use it as multiple security deposits to buy down the money factor.

    Thanks for the information. I haven't gone back to the guy due to crazy work schedule. Will post an update here once I am done. In the meantime I have generated some interest in q7  ;)
