Towing

Hi I have a 2005 trailblazer 4.2L in line 6 4×4 with 145000 miles I currently live in Albuquerque new mexico and am moving to Pueblo Colorado which is about a 5 hour drive 350 miles I was wondering if my trailblazer can handle towing my 1988 Honda Accord that far or will that be too much on my engine we were planing on loading the trailblazer with our stuff and the Honda as well if anyone has any answers please let me know thanks

    Depends on your axle ratio somewhat, but probably no more than 6,300 maximum. This would include the wieght of the tow trailer (if any) and the weight of what you pack into the TB and into the Accord. Figure the Accord weights about 2700 lbs.

    So, roughly speaking, seems like you'd be all right here.
