Shifting problems.. I think

I have a question, my 08 Lincoln Navigatior 4x4 is acting up at 117,000mi. It runs fine until i reach about 45-55mph and then if i'm going uphill or bypassing slower vehicles, I press the gas a little more to speed up and the car starts jerking until I either let go of the gas and cruise uphill or step harder on the pedal to what appears to be shifting into a lower gear to be able to speed up. I have only taken my car to the Ford dealership since I bought it and I just want to make sure I have done some research before I take it in. Everyone knows they charge a arm and a leg but, I really believe that the only people worth fixing it are the ones who specialize in the make.

Also, it makes this really funky noise like 100 buzzing bees every time I'm driving weather standing or accelerating. Someone told me power steering yet, the fluids are full..

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading!

Sounds like a misfire problem but sometimes these are tricky to differentiate from torque converter issues. Hopefully the dealer's scan tools will ferret this out.
