2016 Audi A3 Sedan 1.8T FWD S tronic - Purchase
Purchased a 2016 Audi A3 Sedan 1.8T FWD S tronic from a Dallas area audi dealer as follows:
MSRP - $34,790
Selling Price - $28,990 + TTL
I was close to leasing with a negotiated payment of $279 for 36 months with 12k per year, with nothing down other than TTL and a $795 acquisition fee, but ended up going with a finance option that provided for essentially the same terms, with a balloon payment in the same amount as the lease residual (or $19,482). This provides me with the option to avoid the sales tax on the residual had I elected to lease the A3.
Interest rate on the 3 year term, prior to the balloon, was 1.24%, with top tier credit. Final payments were 36 at $268 per month, with the $19,482 balloon due in 3 years.
