Just got a lease quote on a 2016 428xi M Sport

MSRP=$ 55,520
Selling Price = $ 51,800
MF = .00138 (3.3% apr)
Residual = $34,422.40 (62%)
36/12k lease term
$617/ month

Also approx $3800 in payment due @ singing. This is taxes paid up front , first month doc fee and so forth.

To me it seems like the money factor is a little high. I also inquired about MSD and it lowered the MF to .00089.

Those are the correct base money factors.

If the selling price is the same as the CAP cost, then I get $602/mo.with those numbers. (vs. your $617).
Making 7 MSDs would lower that number by $42/mo.

I would ask for a breakdown of the $3800. That seems like a lot, but not knowing your state or tax rate, I would just be guessing.

Thank You for the MF info. This is something that I would assume changes from month to month? Do they usually vary between different manufacturers?

The $3800 break down was govt fees, taxes up front doc fee and dealer charge plus first months payment.

Yes.. MF can change by month (or, they may not).

They vary greatly, by make, model, term, etc.
