I am looking at a 2015 Certified Mercedes - Benz GLA SUV FWD 7,000 miles. MSRP on the vehicle was $37,600 and I think I can buy it for $31,500. It is a dealership loaner vehicle. I have never purchased a certified vehicle, and was wondering if anyone who has way more experience than me letting me know what they think of that price? Greatly appreciated - thank you.

You can use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools. That should give you an idea of your target price.

You can also look for the Appraise Your Car link and drill down - you'll wind up on a pricing page that will include a CPO price.

Remember that a certified vehicle is still a used car and some dealers are better than others about prepping them. You should inspect it in broad daylight and it doesn't hurt to have to own mechanic check it out. Some dealers have been known to sell cars with mismatched tires, minimum brake pad thicknesses or unresolved recalls. It would be nice to see the checklist and talk to the tech; after all, the dealer has been living with this car for several months and should know if it had any unusual service issues.
