Sienna O2 Sensor and intake manifold

Hi,
2010 Sienna, 45k miles, got check engine and VSC light on. Took to dealer was told O2 sensor and intake manifold needs to be changed. Not happy...does anyone know if this is a common issue or if there is a recall on this issue? Dealer quoted $1100 to fix this! Had a Sienna before and worked like a charm. Not happy with Toyota quality of late, will not buy another Toyota for a long time to come.

A 02 sensor is 40 to 60 bucks. check other part on Rockauto.com.
