Max Down Payment?

The MBUSA site says they (MBFS) will not finance a new vehicle if you put more than 25% down. Is this true? Is this the same for banks? I want to put down about 50% with cash and trade-in on a new GLC.

Definitely not true with other banks, though they may have a minimum amount to finance ($7000 or so).
