I find a car on Craigslist (I know, not looking good so far). Pittsburgh Craigslist, so I message the seller and we briefly discuss the vehicle in question. When I ask where the seller is located and when I could possibly come see the vehicle, I get this message: "Hi again, In this moment i'm at Nellis,Air Force Base Medical. We are in the final stage of our training and i am only allowed to check my email,no phone calls in or out.. We have to stick to email for now.. Hope you can understand. The truck and all papers are stored into Air Force Base warehouse here in Nellis,Nevada....The delivery process will be managed by me you won't have to pay shipping just the truck price,, which is $1,500 no hidden fees. The whole shipping process will take 2-3 days. It will come with a clear title and reg. I am a member of the eBay protection program and using this service you will get a 5 days testing period after delivery.. During that 5 days testing period I will not be getting any money. I need to know if you are interested so I can ask eBay to send you the details on this deal.. If interested just email your full name and shipping address, so I can inform eBay that I have a buyer! I will forward your details to them and then you will receive an invoice (with no further obligations or fees)... Then you will be able to talk with them directly and ask all you want to know.. Thanks and God bless" Why was this vehicle posted on Pittsburgh's Craigslist? Who would ship a $1500 vehicle 3/4 of the way across the country? Why not just go through ebay? These are the questions I'm asking myself. Any thoughts are appreciated.

There are so many red flags one hardly knows where to begin

""Hi again, In this moment i'm at Nellis,Air Force Base Medical. We are in the final stage of our training and i am only allowed to check my email,no phone calls in or out.. "

Really? Does the Air Force erect a magnetic field to block cell phones?

"The truck and all papers are stored into Air Force Base warehouse here in Nellis,Nevada"

I'm sure the Air Force provides free storage for everyone's old cars.

"The delivery process will be managed by me you won't have to pay shipping just the truck price,, which is $1,500 no hidden fees. "

So we're shipping a $1,500 truck 2,000 miles for free?

" I am a member of the eBay protection program and using this service you will get a 5 days testing period after delivery"

Oh, sure. Don't like it---just send it back, no charge

" I will forward your details to them and then you will receive an invoice (with no further obligations or fees).."

THERE's the part where they close in for the kill on you....

Not to mention that if you don't buy through eBay, eBay has nothing to do with the transaction.

    Scam.
