Engine swaps and performance upgrades

Okay so i recently have purchased a 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT and im curious to know what exactly i can and cannot do with the car. I've been thinking about swapping the origional motor out and putting in a hyundai genesis 2.0 turbo motor I figured with it being the same brand it should work pretty well but I'd love to get some imput on the situation

FWD vs. RWD tells me that probably won't work.

But, I'm no expert.
