16 Impreza Sport Limited - lease kinda high?

i got a quote from dealer for $282.40 for 36m/12k.

price of vehicle @ 23,316
nj tax @ 7
down payment @ 2k

is that high for a 16 impreza sport limited (no moonroof, no navigation , no eyesight)? all the online calculators are showing me monthly payments between $230-$240ish. am i missing something?

Is the MSRP about $25K?

Is $2000 the total amount due at signing?
If the price of the vehicle is the CAP cost, then the payment is $277/mo. ($271/mo, using the base MF).

The problem with calculators? You are probably entering the $2000 as a down payment, when in actuality, it's going to pay your upfront costs (1st payment, taxes, title/license/dealer fees, acquisition fee). It's not really a downpayment at all, though a small portion of it might be.
