Lincoln LS Air Condition Compressor

My daughter's 2006 Lincoln LS air condition compressor is not working. The shop says it appears to be an electrical problem but they have tested and tested and cannot find the problem. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

    Well they should start at least with the AC relay and test the battery side and the load side. If there's voltage on both sides, then they have to trace from there to the AC compressor itself to find a break in the wiring. If there's no voltage on the feed side of the relay, they'll have to work back from there, to the fuse box, and from there, back to wherever the wiring diagram points them.

    I presume they have already applied 12V to the AC compressor clutch directly to rule out clutch problems?
