2005 Forester Ac blows cold only when under 40 mph

I just picked up a used 2005 Forester and the AC works great, up until I hit the highway then it blows warm. As soon as I travel under 40-45 mph it goes back to blowing cold.

Anyone else have similar issues?

If you are even slightly down on refrigerant level the AC compressor will cycle on and off more frequently when under high demand, so first thing I'd do is have that checked.

Just had my ac recharged over the weekend, and while it was low, it still blows warm at highway speeds, I fear it will be the condenser.
