2005 PT Cruiser blows IOD fuse during radio install

I'm trying to install a new aftermarket stereo in my 2005 PT Cruiser convertible but everytime I connect the wires to their respectable counterparts it ends up blowing my IOD fuse. Someone please help!

    Do you have a wiring diagram for this new stereo? You must be unintentionally grounding the IOD fuse circuit somehow. But with a wiring schematic and a test light for the wires you are attempting to connect to, you should be able to avoid this.
