2017 BMW 640i lease 36 month money factor and residual in Florida please?

I would like to lease. Currently am in a lease of a 2015 528i. Dealership says they will consider letting me out of lease in 9 months from end of lease. Will handle as a trade-in. Any one ever hear of this? If so, what am I trading? Retail value of 2017 640i minus Trade in value of 2015 528i?

All leased vehicles have a current payoff (just like a loan). You are trading in your leased car, and the dealership is buying it from the bank. The equity (or negative equity) is the difference between the value they assign to the trade vs. the payoff to the leasing bank. (just like on a purchase). Like a purchase, the trade is a separate transaction from the purchase/lease of the next vehicle.
