inside door handle 2003 expedition. all they shipped was the chrome plastic piece. how do I attach

the chrome piece to the spring.. do I really need to dismantle the door??

    Looks like you do. Here's a VIDEO that shows you how to get the panel off--it's not very hard but there is a bit of fiddling and yanking.
