My 02 galant has been having problems It starts fine idols fine and as it warms up it starts missing at idol and upon acceleration also if I put it in gear after just starting it misses under load I've checked plugs wires compression (was getting a cylinder 2 misfire) all of those checked out good I also checked my egr valve and vacuum control valve to see if they are holding a vacuum and they are. Don't know what to try next is it a vacuum leak or something else.

    What codes are extracted when you scan the car now? You may need some technical help with this, so that the condition can be viewed in "real time" to see what values change as the car warms up. You don't even know yet if you have an ignition or a fuel delivery/fuel trim problem.

    ok I can try the scan tool at school snap on I think and it should be able to get me real time data will let you know whT i FIND OUT THANKS.

    Yeah, good. Sometimes using a different scanned does the trick--more often than you'd think.
