just replaced crankshaft, bearings, & ck oil pump. 70000 miles on engine, now when it is all warmed up, come to stop, oil light comes on. Ck it out with a oil gauge, when stop pressure drops below or to zero.

Argh. Well there are any number of possibilities but they all pretty much require going back into the engine, at least partially. I'm wondering if you could confirm the most likely suspect (excessive main bearing clearance) by installing a high capacity oil pump temporarily to see if that corrects the issue or makes it better. If it does, then that confirms excessive bearing clearance.

I guess it's also possible that some oil galley plug was not replaced properly during the engine re-assembly?

I don't think the oil filter has anything to do with it because the filter is usually by-passed under low PSI.
