Any thoughts on 3 series cars with RWD South Africa Sedan? Searching on web gives me mixed messages. Would the ride be rough and bumpy?

They are identical to any other 3-Series sold in the US.

Are you shopping for new or used?

Most of the 328i for dealer stock, that come into East Coast ports are from the plant in South Africa. It's been that way for 15 years (at least).

I've never seen any credible evidence that they are any different than German assembled units. They are identical cars.

And, I've owned 3-Series assembled in both countries.
