How To Trade-in or Sell My 1994 Celica GT?
I have a 1994 Toyota Celica GT that's been sitting in my garage for five years. I want to trade it in when I buy a new car. I'm considering cars under $20,000. Or, I'm happy to sell it. I want it out of my garage and I'd like to make a buck if that's at all possible.
I got it started. A jump was all it took. Ran it for about an hour-and-a-half. The driver's side rear wheel is stuck. It rolls back, but not forward. Took off the wheel, sprayed it with brake cleaner, but still wouldn't budge. I might just try to rock it back and forth to see if that frees it up. Suggestions? Nothing too difficult.
If that doesn't work, I don't know. It will drive, I know it, but I can't see how I'll trade it in or sell it if I can't unlock that wheel.
The car is black and the body is in fairly good shape. Rust on the bottom of driver's side door and a little dinged up over back wheel (not related to stuck wheel). Overall, though, The car looks good.
Mechanically, probably a bit of an oil leak. Rear struts need replacing. Other than that...I love this car.
Anyway...it's time for it to go. Suggestions on the back wheel? Suggestions on a trade-in?
Thanks

I don't see this car as a viable trade-in. You'd be better off selling it privately.
I just had offer me $500 to tow it in sight-unseen.
And, yes, I'd live to see some kid buy this thing and fix it up. It's an awesome car.
Thanks
