Clicking/Popping Sound When I Turn the Car Off

I replaced the battery last night in my 2011 Elantra. Car starts fine, all accessories work and no indicators lights have come on, but every time I turn the car off there are 3 quick succession popping/clicking sounds coming from the front of the engine compartment now. It's always 3 and quick. Any ideas what may be going on?

If these are random in frequency rather than timed noises, I'd say it's just "heat-sink"--parts cooling off in the engine; otherwise, if they are timed regularly like clock-work, I'd open the hood and have someone turn off the car and then see if you can locate the source.
