replacement parts - '05 Camry

My 2005 Toyota Camry was built in July, 2004, Kentucky. When I buy parts for a 2005, some do not fit --- I have to buy 2004 parts --- Why is this?

The parts catalog should be able to pick up these production differences by VIN #, but generally the dealer is better at this than aftermarket parts vendors. Hard to say what's going on here exactly but if you need a vital part and it's not too expensive to do so, order it from the dealer.
