need tips on 2015 avalon hybird driving

I am going to pick up a 2015 Avalon Hybrid tomorrow with 9000 miles, a 100 mile trip. I have no idea how I should operate the hybrid settings for the trip home

Probably just for now put it in "normal" mode. The "eco" mode limits throttle response and cabin temperature, and gives you about 10% better fuel economy. The "sport" mode gives you the quickest throttle response and also tightens up your power steering. Since you bought this car as a hybrid and not a sports car, you may want to experiment with "eco" an "norm" modes for now, until you can read through the owner's manual. There's a fair amount of tech in this car so you'll have to do some homework. You should also ask your salesperson for a quick run-through of the systems you are likely to operate on your way home.
