need help trying to figure out why my car wont run right.

so to start I have an 05 ford focus zx3. got it on the road about two weeks ago, drove it around for one day with no issues. the next morning I went to warm it up before I left for work. then it just died after sitting at an idle for about 10 minutes. I have an obd2 scanner and its telling me I have an engine light on for a mass or low volume input. I think the code was p1020. but we thought maybe there was a fuel delivery issue. the fuel pump works great. has a brand new fuel filter. has plenty of preacher to the fuel rail. it will run for all of about 5 to 10 seconds and if you give it any gas it will just die out. is there anybody who has had this same problem? and I have the 2.0 any help would be greatly appreciated!
