Heated seats in a 2015 Yukon XL

I have a 2015 Yukon XL. The front seats take up to 20 minutes to show any signs of warmth, the front passenger seat specifically. On our old 2005 Yukon the seats heated up within a couple minutes. What has GMC done differently? Is there any solution for this? The dealership says no.

I've had heated seats in five different makes.. Something is wrong with yours.
