Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? A national business reporter is interested in speaking with you. Please reach out to [email protected] by 12/15 if interested in sharing your story.

Is there a way to make "Rear Defogger/Heated Door Mirrors" come on

when Remote Engine Start is used ? "Window Defroster" stays on if it was on the last time car was used, but "Rear Defogger/Heated Door Mirrors" does not stay on. This is in reference to my 2016 Honda Civic EX sedan.
In winter this would be very helpful.

But your heater settings and heater fan will turn on to its previous settings, so why doesn't that eventually clear the back window--the interior of the car can get pretty warm in a few minutes.
I suppose some electronics whiz could rig up a remote relay just for that circuit, but you'd be pressing two buttons every morning, on two fobs.
I thought I might have missed something within the way-too-complicated vehicle settings system and the mess called a Drivers Manual (which tries to let one manual serve for several very different versions of the EX Civic)
