2005 Jetta 2.0 wont start

The car turns over i have checked all fuses it had power to the pump but the pump wont kick on and run after checking all the fuses i checked the fuel pump under the back seat i then run a check light and tested it seeing was getting power but not getting fuel i decided to replace the pricey fuel pump to still have same results any ideas i can do next

    Well back to basics.

    1. Do you have spark? (test with a simple spark tester) If YES, go to:

    2. Do you have adequate fuel pressure? (test with a fuel pressure gauge hooked up to the fuel rail)? If YES, go to:

    3. Do you have injector pulse (test with a NOID light, although on *some* cars if the tachometer needle moves while cranking, that would tell you that you have crank/cam sensors working) If YES

    4. Do you have compression?
