Going price for Toyoya Camry XLE 2015

I need to buy a car soon (like within the next few days) and was looking to pick up an XLE by Toyota (any year between 2014 to 2016).

Was just told on another forum that there's no real way to tell what cars in my area have sold for (even though a lot of these online buying guide/"tip" sites suggest I find that information first before buying), and so now I make my way here in hopes that someone can help me out. With about 15,000 miles, what do these XLE's average, does anyone know? I keep seeing, on average, about $20,000 and I wonder 1) what current market value is and 2) how much really can I talk them down from that price? Is it a science? Or can we speak generally about these things? As in, can we almost always get $2,000 off? More usually? Less? Any help I can get would be appreciated, as I don't know much about cars.

Thanks.
