What is wrong? Knocking - '02 Vue

My 02 Saturn vue has a knocking on passenger side of engine, it started while driving with the cruise set, it downshifted an then the rpms shot high, it will still start and drive but the knocking is loud

    Hard to hear it from this far away but I'd suggest you get a trained ear on it right away. Loud knocking at highway speeds can never be good. Maybe just a CV joint which wouldn't be too much of an expense.

    But get it on a lift before something cuts loose and makes things worse (or could be a safety issue here, too).
