Has anyone had an issue with the convertible top of the 2007 Vantage?

I stopped the roof when part way open and it froze. I got it down into the well and the cover closed but not all the way. Now when I try to open or put roof up, the motor runs but it does not operate. Any ideas?

I don't think there's much activity here on Aston Martins, so I would suggest that you try a dedicated A-M forum, such as:

Since the motor is running, must be either a hydraulic system failure or a binding linkage issue,and it will have to go to an A-M specialist.
